Furthermore, Robert’s clear description of the fights gave me a feeling of being in the heat of the action. I cringed and jumped in reaction to the surprise attacks, knife cuts, and bullet exchanges like I was experiencing them physically. Though the book is mostly fast-paced and action-packed, it also includes deep characterization and a rich representation of loss, love, anger, and other emotions. If you love John Wick or Jason Bourne, you should read Cartel Hunter. As displayed in the book, Robert Goluba’s brilliant storytelling is bound to refine your taste in action books and render anything subpar less attractive.”
